Petal pink matka cotton, lined in soft mal cotton beneath. The pink is unguarded — warm and uncomplicated, the colour of something that has not yet learned to be anything other than gentle. The matka weave brings its own quiet character, a slight texture that makes the fabric feel lived-in from the first wear.
The bodice is layered with three horizontal ruffles in white — each one printed with tiny pink florals and green leaves, each one sitting just below the last like something stacked with care. They run across the chest from armhole to armhole, framing the neckline and the buttons beneath. It is generous in its sweetness. Unapologetically so. The empire gather below releases into a full, soft skirt — sleeveless, long, unhurried.
