Saraswati takes its name from the river said to run unseen — quiet, but never absent. This dress carries something of that same depth: a rich mustard ground, hand block printed with an all-over vine of florals and leaves in ivory and charcoal outline, dense enough to feel considered rather than busy.
A V-neckline opens into an empire yoke, gathered fully below the bust for room that moves with you rather than clinging. Three-quarter bell sleeves carry the same vine print, finished with a contrast printed border at the cuff — the one deliberate accent on an otherwise continuous pattern. A concealed zip sits at the side seam for easy nursing access.

region, chosen for how it wears through pregnancy
and daily life.
These fabrics have a character that grows with
washing. To preserve that:
Hand wash in cold water. Use a mild detergent —
no harsh chemicals near natural dyes or woven
surfaces.
Do not wring. Gently press out water and hang
in shade to dry.
Iron on medium heat on the reverse side. Keep
steam away from block-printed or embroidered
surfaces.
For heavily embellished pieces — dry clean or
spot clean only.
These are not fast-fashion fabrics. They are
made to last when treated with a little care.
Most JANANI pieces can be customised at no
extra charge.
Length adjustments — shorter or longer than
the standard cut. Specify in centimetres if
possible.
Sleeve additions — half sleeve or full sleeve
added to sleeveless styles.
